Campaign Featuring Multi-Ethnic Cast Nets Sinema Films Silver Trophy
NEW YORK, May 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sinema Films has won a Silver trophy at the 40th Annual Telly Awards for its advertisement campaign work for Beautyblender, the infamous pink makeup sponge that has gained viral popularity among beauty aficionados. With over 12K entries, The Telly is one of the most competitive awards to win for video and television content across all screens.
Sinema Films winning campaign featured a mix of live action and CGI animation. "This spot was completed on a very tight budget and timeline – so this is a very lovely surprise indeed," noted Noel Maimu, one of the founding producers at Sinema Films. Asked about what may have contributed to the win, the producer opined that it may be the campaign's embrace of diversity and the transformative magic of beauty. " It is a good looking spot, the high production values helped for sure. The campaign also features a multi-ethnicity cast, celebrating women in beauty."
Founded in 1979, The Telly Awards honors video and television made for all screens and is judged by The Telly Awards Judging Council, a group of leading video and television experts from some of the most prestigious companies in entertainment, publishing, advertising, and emerging technology. Some of the winners at this year's awards include Netflix, CNN and HBO Latin America.
