WL Byers and Southern Pines Announce Company Partnership
Aliquippa, PA (PRWEB) September 29, 2016 -- WL Byers and Southern Pines announced that the companies will combine in a partnership of equals. The combined company will operate under the name of Southern Pines offering hauling services in the contiguous U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
David Byers will be named President of Southern Pines; Pat Gallagher, CEO; Bob Gallagher, Vice President; George Byers, Secretary; and Tom Kairys VP of Commercial Gas Sales.
Byers Trucking is a family-owned business operating since 1962. They operate 30 trucks and over 130 trailers and specialized pieces of equipment. Over-size haul load capabilities range up to 350,000 pounds, 160’ long, 32’ wide and 21’ tall. Byers is ranked among North America's TOP 50 Heavy and Specialized Transportation Companies by American Cranes & Transport Magazine.
Southern Pines was founded in 2002 with a fleet of more than 30 trucks. Drivers are certified and specially trained to transport industrial gases and hazardous shipments.
Its cryogenic tank trailers are capable of transporting between 7,300 and 7,800 gallons of liquid oxygen, nitrogen or argon.
