WNRC Announces Honorees for April 28th Gala

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 17, 2014 -- The Women’s National Republican Club (WNRC) will hold its 93rd Annual Awards Gala on Monday April 28, 2014 in the Club’s beautifully restored, two story Grand Ballroom at 3 W. 51st St., New York, NY.

WNRC’s 2014 honorees include Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ), who will receive the “WNRC Excellence in Homeland Security Award”, Monica Crowley, author and nationally known radio and TV commentator who will receive the “WNRC Excellence in Journalism Award”, John A. Catsimatidis, CEO Gristedes supermarkets and former NYC Mayoral candidate, who will receive the “WNRC Citizenship Award” and Lt. Col. Kim Campbell, Air Force Senior Fellow at the Brent Scowcroft Center of International Security who will receive the “WNRC Excellence in Military Service Award”.

The black tie gala event begins with a cocktail reception for the honorees followed by a formal dinner and awards presentation. Following the program, a Viennese styled dessert reception will be held in the Pratt Lounge.

The Women’s National Republican Club was founded in 1921 and the present clubhouse at 3 W. 51st St was completed in 1934. The mission of the WNRC is to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas relating to the value of political parties and their relationship to government and to advocate, promote and maintain the principles of Republicanism.
