It is my hope that the readers of this book will take away the desire to know and love the Lord and want Him to help them, much as He has helped me through the 83 years of my life.

Author Patricia Lawrence shares how God has guided her life’s journey in She Did Right – Now – She Does Write: A life of struggles and trials, changed by God($14.99, paperback, 9781662812644; $7.99, e-book, 9781662812651).

As a young woman, Lawrence was raped and became pregnant. Her mother tried to force her to get an abortion, even threatening her at gunpoint. She lost her husband of 37 years, had two heart attacks and is losing her sight. Through all of these difficulties, her Heavenly Father has never left her side and she continues to live victoriously with Him.

“It is my hope that the readers of this book will take away the desire to know and love the Lord and want Him to help them, much as He has helped me through the 83 years of my life. May they also know that no life is so badly damaged that it cannot be used to further the Gospel,” said Lawrence.

Patricia Lawrence is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She writes poetry and short stories, in addition to being an eclectic artist. Lawrence’s life story was shared as part of an “Unshackled” radio drama for Pacific Garden Mission and she was a public speaker for Christian Women’s Clubs for nine years.
