Women's Business Network of Frederick Welcomes Joe Offutt for their 'Staying Safe' Speaker Series

FREDERICK, Md., March 11, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In February, the Women's Business Network welcomed Joe Offutt, owner of Tristar Martial Arts Academy of Mt. Airy. Joe had an immersive and informative presentation that showed the participants of the luncheon that:
1. Awareness is key and to always trust their boundaries
2. Setting boundaries is critical
3. It's important to take responsibility for their own safety at all times!
Joe shared various tips and statistics bringing many aha moments and much laughter.

Joe began training in the martial arts at age 10 and has continued learning many styles over the last 40 years. He is currently a 5th Degree Black Belt in Budo Taijutsu. He is the owner and chief instructor of Tristar Martial Arts Academy of Mt. Airy. He opened the Mt. Airy Dojo 12 years ago and has instructed over 1,500 students. At Tristar they focus on teaching skills and techniques that provide personal protection from real life threats.
