Women's Mobile March: Michigan Counties Unite
Southeast Michigan -- Join us Saturday, October 17th for the 2020 Women's Mobile March launching from Riverside Park in Auburn Hills and landing at Hallwood Plaza in Flint, MI. Across multiple Michigan counties, women, femmes, and allies will join together in a Women's March 2020 Dream Cruise to show collective power and make 2020 the year to drive to Move Women Forward.
The mobile march will be led by Holly A.C.T.S. and Flint Rising as the women of Oakland, Livingston & Genesee Counties stand in solidarity with ALL women across the nation. Women fight for ourselves and each other. Women stand up for ourselves and we extend a hand up to any woman who needs our help or our voice. United we will continue to fight to end violence, environmental injustice, systemic racism, the threats to our reproductive rights along with civil rights, disability rights, immigrant rights, worker rights, and our LGBTQIA sisters and brothers.
Please join the Mobile March and rallies to hear from many amazing female voices and allies from all walks of life! Decorate cars and join in as we launch a Mobile "March" up I-75 North from Riverside Park in Auburn Hills from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM and landing at Hallwood Plaza in Flint to rally at 12:30 PM- 3 PM.
Safety is paramount: Both rallies require face coverings over the mouth and nose and/or face shields and please physically distance 6+ feet from those you don't live with. Disposable face masks and hand sanitizer will be available. Remember to decorate the cars as creatively and safely as possible!!
