Women We Admire is pleased to announce The Top 50 Women Leaders of Delaware for 2025
NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Women We Admire is pleased to announce The Top 50 Women Leaders of Delaware for 2025. Known as the First State and the Diamond State, Delaware has a long and storied history, including being the first state to ratify the Constitution. Despite being the second smallest state in the union, Delaware plays an outsized role in many industries, including education, financial services, agriculture, science, technology, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Among this year's awardees is Vilmarie Gilliam, Head of Partnerships of Codoxo, a forensic AI platform. With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Gilliam is responsible for identifying and managing partners, defining objectives and timelines, establishing repeatable and data-driven practices, and overseeing a program that drives meaningful revenue, enhances client retention, and strengthens the organization's positioning with prospective clients.
We also honor Amber Wellman, Chief Sustainability Officer of The Chemours Company, a global leader in chemistry. Wellman has 15 years of experience innovating in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, leading teams across technical, operations, commercial, and regulatory disciplines. She plays a central role in establishing strategic collaborations and partnerships with external experts, companies, industries, and organizations to advance Chemours' sustainability efforts.
Finally, we acknowledge Mary Remmler, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the University of Delaware. With more than 30 years of experience as a senior financial and operational leader in higher education, Remmler oversees the strategic budget and financial operations for the university, managing an annual operating budget of over $1.2 billion, a nearly $2 billion endowment, and an enrollment of more than 24,000 students.
