"Capable women often fail to realize their full potential, because they do not know how to negotiate for themselves," states Kimberlee Centera, CEO of TerraPro Solutions."The tools they will acquire during this workshop will help them to effectively communicate their value to their employers or their clients."
This hands-on program includes exercises designed to give participants a skill set that will take the fear out of negotiation. They will learn how to present relevant facts that support their position, so that they understand how to engage in negotiation exchanges and how to establish a BANTA (best alternative to a negotiated agreement).
"Negotiation is something many people are expected to know, but few are provided opportunities to learn how. It requires knowing what tactics to use, when to use them, and having the confidence to walk away from the negotiation table," said Lisa Ann Pinkerton, founder and chairwoman of Women in Cleantech & Sustainability. "Kimberlee is a remarkable leader and role model for women, we are very excited for our community of women and men to learn from her experiences."
