Food and Fintech with First Data is a part of the executive auction lineup for the signature networking and fundraising event supporting girls in STEAM
ATLANTA, June 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Atlanta-based nonprofit Women in Technology (WIT) leadership team is excited to provide a sneak peek at its popular WIT Connect 2019 executive auction packages, which will be unveiled at WIT Connect annual fundraising and networking event on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6-9 pm at the Georgia Aquarium.
The executive auction is made possible by senior IT executives who have graciously donated their time to be auctioned off to raise funds to support our goal to empower girls and women to excel in STEAM – from the classroom to the boardroom. Support of this signature fundraiser allows us to offer our WIT Girls and WIT Campus programs at no cost. Packages can include golf, lunch, dinner – you name it. Executive Auction packages can include you and your team members to provide maximum bidding opportunity.
WIT President and CEO Penny Collins said, "With over 700 high-profile executives in the technology field in attendance, there is sure to be a package worth bidding on for everyone! For example, the Food and Fintech with First Data package. Who could resist a wonderful meal with fintech leader, First Data? Many people would pay a pretty penny to talk fintech with senior IT executives at First Data over dinner at which they could learn how these execs are integrating two of the largest payment companies in the world, advancing the adoption of technology in the finance industry and what's next in the world of fintech."
The First Data executive auction package includes dinner with John Lavey, CIO/SVP Application Development GFS and NSS business, Hartley Caldwell, SVP Debit and STAR Technology, Mike Manos, Chief Technology Officer, Jay Moran, SVP Global Foundational Infrastructure, and Amaya Souarez, Head of EMEA Infrastructure Operations. Date and location to be determined.
Other auction packages were generously donated by industry leaders such as AGCO, AT&T, Cox Automotive, Equifax, GE Power, Georgia-Pacific, Home Depot, Manhattan Associates, NCR, State Farm and SunTrust to name a few. Penny added, "Since this auction is so popular, I recommend that bidders strategize with their friends and colleagues in advance to outsmart other bidders. It's all in good fun and it's for a great cause!"
