Women in Technology Opens Nominations for 15th Annual Leadership Awards
Fairfax, Va (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 -- Women in Technology (WITSM), the premier organization contributing to the success of professional women in the Washington, D.C.-area technology community, today announced the call for nominations for the 15th Annual Leadership Awards. This year debuts the category “Innovative Technology,” which will honor a woman who has developed or commercialized technology products. Nominations will be accepted until December 20, 2013.
The annual awards program honors leading female professionals living in the Washington, D.C. metro area who bring a unique vision and talent in the technology arena along with a passion for mentoring future leaders and supporting their community. Both WIT members and non-members are eligible for nominations and winners will be announced at the Leadership Awards Banquet on April 3, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston, Va.
