As part of WEST’s 20th Anniversary celebration in 2020, we are featuring profiles of Inspirational Women Leaders from all facets of society to highlight and celebrate their accomplishments - how they excel at what they do, inspire others, and make a larger impact in the world. We are also celebrating our membership and impact with “20 Years, 20 Stories”. These reflections showcase WEST’s diverse membership by highlighting their personal experiences within the WEST community. These stories capture the unwavering support and inspiration they experience as a member of the WEST community.

“We are very excited to mark the 20th anniversary of WEST. This has given us an opportunity to celebrate the progress women have made in STEM, and an opportunity to reflect on the work that still needs to be done to encourage women to pursue and succeed in STEM professions”, said Meena Subramanyam, President of the WEST Board. To enable this vision, WEST focuses heavily on preparing early and mid-career professional women to be successful leaders by providing mentoring and development opportunities and expanding their professional networks. WEST has held many engaging virtual events - recent events include Empathy Works, How to Captivate Your Virtual Audience, and Courageous Conversations. A Career Possibilities Panel series is planned for 2021.
