View and Select Available Cemetery Property Virtually

The Woodlawn Cemetery & Conservancy announces the launch of their new updated website, http://www.woodlawn.org. The new website features an available property search option, allowing families to view all cemetery property virtually. Additionally, the new web site allows for Woodlawn’s Family Service Associates to meet with families virtually, explain all options using the online tools, and complete any documentation electronically.

“Our primary goal during the website redesign process was to create a virtual platform for families to visit Woodlawn, speak with our Family Service Associates team, get all their questions answered and still receive the top-notch service and care that Woodlawn is known for,” explained Mitch Rose, President & CEO. “The safety of our families and our staff is of the utmost importance and our new website allows us to achieve safety without compromising service.”

Additionally, the new website features FAQs on both burial and cremation, historic information about Woodlawn, facts about Woodlawn’s notables, and information about upcoming tours and events hosted by the Woodlawn Conservancy.

“Often times, families are wanting to begin the planning process, but don’t know where to start. We encourage families to visit our new website, virtually explore the cemetery, and then contact us with questions,” said Marlisa Moreland, Director of Family Service Associates. “We are here to help families in any way and to and provide families with the service they deserve whether they desire to meet virtually or safely in person.”

The Woodlawn Cemetery is an active 400-acre, non-sectarian cemetery since its inception in 1863. A National Historic Landmark, Woodlawn’s celebrated lot owners comprise artists and writers, civic leaders, business moguls, entertainers, jazz musicians, suffragists and more. With a wide variety of burial, cremation and pre-planning options, families look to Woodlawn to provide answer to questions regarding final arrangements.
