“We’ve been able to build partnerships with some amazing organizations over the years and are always eager to create more opportunities by working with new charities or at new events, and I’m thrilled that this is reflected on Built In Boston’s list," said Michelle Cataldo.
BOSTON (PRWEB) January 17, 2020
WordStream Inc., a leading provider of online marketing software and services, is proud to announce it has been named one of the Best Places to Work by Built in Boston based on both its opportunities for employee growth and the benefits the company offers as a whole.
Built In Boston’s Best Places to Work list is decided based on data provided by both Boston-area companies and their employees. The list rates companies algorithmically based on compensation data and employer benefits. Rank is determined by combining a company’s score in each of these categories. The top 100 companies make the list, and this year WordStream ranked #54.
WordStream stands for more than just the work it’s doing to help small to medium-sized businesses grow. In fact, Built In Boston named the company’s top benefit its commitment to non-profit partners. Last year alone, WordStream donated school supplies and winter clothing to local partner David A. Ellis Elementary school, sponsored 24 children over the holidays, prepared over 15,000 meals through Community Servings, served thousands of scoops of ice cream at the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl, hosted blood drives that impacted 216 lives, and so much more.
“Our employees are committed to supporting the community, and I love being able to facilitate that,” said Michelle Cataldo, who runs WordStream’s community impact initiatives. “We’ve been able to build partnerships with some amazing organizations over the years and are always eager to create more opportunities by working with new charities or at new events. I’m excited to see how important it is to our employees and, more importantly, how much of an impact we are making in our community, and I’m thrilled that this is reflected on Built In Boston’s list.”
Maria Christopoulos Katris, CEO and Co-Founder of Built In, said, “These companies stand for more than just the work they’re doing. They stand for their people and purpose.”
