Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 14, 2014 -- Scranton attorneys Todd J. O’Malley and Mary Anne Lucas of O’Malley & Langan PC recently participated in the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Annual Convention. The AAJ conference was held July 26-30, 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Attorney Lucas participated in a program on July 27 at the AAJ conference titled “Workers’ Compensation and Workplace Injury Section.” The three-hour, 15-minute-long panel featured a moderator and four speakers, including attorney Lucas, who delivered a 45-minute-long presentation titled “Top 10 Tips to Improve Your Workers’ Compensation Practice.” She made her presentation to the nation’s top workers’ compensation attorneys.
“Workers’ compensation cases can be extremely complicated,” attorney Lucas noted. “Attorneys need to be prepared before they can tackle such tough cases. Attorney O’Malley served as the moderator for the program on July 28 at the AAJ conference entitled “Gas Drilling/Fracking Litigation Group.” The three-hour, 10-minute-long program featuring five speakers was designed to educate attorneys about “Understanding natural gas production to understand how people, land, and the environment can be—and are being—affected,” according to the agenda for the program.
