The Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts recognizes the winners of their 4th Annual WorkWell Massachusetts Awards at their 7th Annual Conference
BOSTON, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts (WWCMA) has announced the winners of its annual WorkWell Massachusetts Awards program aimed to recognize Massachusetts employers for their exemplary work in worksite health promotion. Winners will be recognized at WWCMA's Seventh Annual Worksite Wellness Conference being held today at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
The WorkWell Massachusetts Award program criteria is based on the following:
1. The HERO Employee Health Management (EHM) Best Practices Scorecard in Collaboration with Mercer– a tool designed to help organizations learn about best practices, discover opportunities to improve their programs, and measure progress over time.
2. A Supplemental application which asks applicants to provide details on their strategic planning and organizational support, program design and implementation, participant engagement, and measurement and evaluation process.
Employers are eligible to earn a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award.
In addition, this year included two new award categories –the Innovator Award and the Community Award. The Innovator Award recognizes outstanding creative efforts to positively impact wellness of employees through inventive and original wellness initiatives. Winners are selected by a panel of judges who award entries based on innovative initiative design, creativity, application, value and employee impact. The Innovator Award winners think outside-the-box and challenge the status quo and conventional norms. Leading and not following, these award winners take chances in the pursuit of new ideas!
The Community Awards celebrates companies that lead employer activities that have a profound impact on the health & wellness of a community. Winners are selected by a panel of judges who award entries based on outstanding service, support, and concern for the wellness of their community. Passionate about helping their community, the community award winners exhibit outstanding contributions.
