Workspend, a leading managed service provider (MSP), has just announced its acquisition of DCR Workforce’s MSP business. By acquiring DCR’s MSP business, Workspend is further accelerating the growth of its MSP and has positioned itself to provide services to an even broader array of industries and geographies.
“The continued evolution of the MSP landscape necessitates a new and innovative approach to the procurement and management of a contingent workforce. In conjunction with our organic growth, we are very excited about the acquisition of DCR’s MSP that will provide additional reach and increased scale, allowing us to offer a broader range of advanced contingent worker solutions to our current and future clients. DCR’s philosophy and foundation is a great fit for our customer and supplier centric total talent solution models,” said Dan Rothberg, President of Workspend.
Sean Trimble, the President of DCR said, "This acquisition will increase benefits to the DCR clients and suppliers as it merges into a seamless transition and operations. The MSP landscape has seen a need for more services including total talent management, RPO, etc., which Workspend brings to our clients."
DCR’s existing clients will immediately realize the benefits of the merged entity; expanded operational capabilities and new service offerings chief among them. Acquiring DCR’s MSP “immediately separates us from what our competitors can offer,” said Manoj Agarwal, CEO of Workspend. “The acquisition enhances Workspend’s position in the market by adding a global and dynamic operations model to our own, which complements our near- and long-term strategy well. Our efforts to transform Workspend into a truly global MSP doesn’t stop here. Rather, we are already evaluating several strategic relationships and other M&A activity; we are ‘open for business,’” said Agarwal.
Workspend is a global leader in providing innovative talent supply chain solutions to mid-market and enterprise-level clients, including the Fortune 500, and the public sector.
