"...I discovered that the potential use for Grillr can go way beyond my original intention for this device. By launching on Kickstarter, I hope that many people will be able to find joy in cooking again." says the inventor of Grillr, John Kim.

Grillr, the world's first wind-up, portable rotisserie oven successfully launched on Monday, October 28th through Kickstarter and has successfully hit its funding goal. The Grillr was designed to help those who don't have access to an oven whether that is at home or outdoors at a camping site.

One of the key features of Grillr is that it does not run on electricity. To activate the clockwork motor, users can simply wind up the easy to use handle. Winding more will add more time. Once the stopper is deactivated, the gears will automatically begin to turn and the skewers inside Grill will slowly rotate.

The fuel source for Grillr is a single can of butane gas which can be easily purchased in any major supermarket. The burner is located on the back wall. The strategic placement or the burner was done intentionally to prevent smoke emissions which occur when liquids come into direct contact with the heat source. This makes Grillr perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

Grillr is also great for celebratory or holiday meals. Cooking for these types of meals can usually span over several hours and possibly even days. However, with an additional oven like Grillr, the main dish can be cooked while side dishes or desserts are being prepared in a separate oven. Since the skewers within the Grillr rotate automatically and stop once the timer is finished, it allows users to spend less time in the kitchen and more time with friends, family, and other guests. "I know how difficult and time-consuming cooking can be. I first developed Grillr to be taken on camping trips, but after getting feedback from hundreds of people, I discovered that the potential use for Grillr can go way beyond my original intention for this device. By launching on Kickstarter, I hope that many people will be able to find joy in cooking again," says the inventor of Grillr, John Kim.

The company behind Grillr, Green IMT has announced that additional early bird rewards have been added and encourages potential backers to claim their Grillr at a discounted price before the campaign comes to an end. Any interested journalists or influencers can reach out to the Grillr team through their Kickstarter page.
