World Trade Center Delaware to Celebrate Three Anniversaries with Romanian Ambassador
The World Trade Center Delaware is celebrating three anniversaries ⎯ one of which is the 50th anniversary of the Delaware founding of the World Trade Centers Association ⎯ with a gala on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Hotel du Pont, 42 W. 11th St., Wilmington.
WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The World Trade Center Delaware is celebrating three anniversaries ⎯ one of which is the 50th anniversary of the Delaware founding of the World Trade Centers Association ⎯ with a gala on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Hotel du Pont, 42 W. 11th St., Wilmington.
H. E. Ambassador George Christian Maior and his delegation from the Romanian Embassy in Washington, D.C. will also be in attendance, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Romanian unification.
And, of course, Delaware Day ⎯ the 231st Anniversary of Delaware's becoming the First State, is on December 7.
The gala includes a pre-dinner cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, music and dancing with entertainers including the BlueBallRoom's Johny Postolachi, international champion dancer and member of the Romanian Competitive DanceSport Team, and U.S. and Russian champion dancers.

Ion (Johny) Postolachi is originally from Moldova where he trained as a competitive dancer since he was five. Ion danced his first competition when he was six, and he has competed for over 20 years, and taught for 10 years. In his career as a competitive dancer, he has represented Moldova, Romania, and Belgium. His students have completed various goals such as performing at National and International competitions at the highest level.

Pamela is currently the program director for the Foundation for Renewable Energy & Environment, a Delaware non-profit dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy. However, her passion is dance, and she has studied and performed various forms of dance throughout her life while pursuing her professional career.
