The Know Your Lemons® breast health education app, built by both Worldwide Breast Cancer (WBC) and Dogtown Media, follows on from WBC’s success in educating over half a billion people in 20 languages in 90 countries since 2017, by providing an easy-to-use digital product for people to learn how to self-exam, learn about risk factors of breast cancer, book a mammogram, and feel confident in knowing what to do if something suspicious is found.
Worldwide Breast Cancer CEO & Founder, Dr. Corrine Ellsworth-Beaumont, is the designer and creator behind the app. “Our mission is to change the picture of breast cancer. Until a cure is found, we need to help patients find it as early as possible. Our Know Your Lemons® app is a big leap forward in removing communication barriers that have prevented women (and men) from having the confidence to understand breast health, report symptoms and get screened.”
Patients have said the content is life saving, “It gave me the confidence to go back to my doctor and insist on getting tested. Seeing these lemons saved my life.” —Jane, Northallerton UK
