Writing Week, A 7-Day Nonfiction Writing Challenge, Launches Today!
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- Shelley Hitz, author of over 35 books and founder of Author Audience Academy, created Writing Week to help both novice and experienced authors move past writer's block so they can share their God-given messages with the world.
“Eighty percent of people want to write a book someday," she said. “This challenge will help them overcome the obstacle of getting started and help them to write more, faster, and better.”
Hitz says it can also help increase productivity in business writing, such as articles, reports, and blog posts.
“We want to get people in the habit of writing every day, so Writing Week includes tools to help them determine the best times and places to write and negative thoughts that might be getting in their way.”
The launch of Writing Week coincides with National Novel Writing Month, a fun approach to creative writing focused on fiction, beginning November 1. Participants will begin working toward the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. on November 30.
Hitz’s challenge for nonfiction writers officially opens its virtual doors on November 1, 2015, but participants can sign up for Writing Week at any time of the year.
