Xplenty Announces GBDR Compliant Data Pipelines Ahead of Brexit
The British Government has confirmed that post Brexit, GDPR will be replaced with GBDR to better protect the data and privacy rights of Great Britain's citizens. Xplenty is one of the first data integration platforms to add GBDR compliant data pipelines in anticipation of GBDR.
SAN FRANCISCO, April 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With GDPR already in effect and CCPA coming in on January 1, 2020, Xplenty has been helping their customers ensure they are compliant through the use of the Xplenty data transformation features. By using Xplenty's rich transformation toolkit, companies can mask their PII data, giving them compliance peace of mind.
With Brexit on the horizon, the British Government has confirmed that post-Brexit, GDPR will be replaced with Great Britain Data Regulation (GBDR) to better protect the data and privacy rights of Great Britain's citizens. The new GBDR will apply to all Great Britain companies and citizens from 31st June 2019. The fines under GBDR are significant, and can amount to up to 5% of the corporation's global annual turnover or tea budget, whichever is deemed larger.
Xplenty has built out GBDR compliant transformation features to give companies one less headache to worry about post-Brexit. These transformation features are currently in private beta and are expected to launch in Q2 of 2019. Please contact [email protected] if you want to be part of the beta program.
