Yamaha FP9 Series Bass Drum Pedals Combine Customization with Motorcycle-Inspired Look
ANAHEIM, Calif. (PRWEB) January 24, 2019 -- Yamaha today launched the FP9 Series Bass Drum Pedals, offering exceptional engineering with feel customization for easy adjustability and custom performance.
The series includes the FP9C double-chain single pedal, FP9D direct-drive single pedal, DFP9C double-chain double pedal, DFP9D direct-drive double pedal and DFP9CL left-footed double-chain double pedal. Evoking the high-performance aesthetic of the Yamaha YZF-R1 superbike, all models include a blue bearing housing, gold Yamaha tuning-fork logo on the beater cap and black beater to resemble the shock towers on the YZF-R1. The footboard is designed with an aluminum casting, offering a lighter, sturdier feel, inspired by the superbike’s construction.
These models incorporate design features that drummers value, such as a weight-adjustable beater and easily accessible pedal lock spring, along with an axle-stabilizing bearing chamber for smooth playability and adjustability. Other features include the independent beater and footboard angle adjustment, anti-skid heel spikes to keep the pedal and bass drum secure and a carrying case.
“Our Research & Development team kept precision in mind with every part carefully thought out to offer new customization features that allow drummers to easily adjust the feel of the pedal to cater to their own style,” said Steven Fisher, marketing manager, Yamaha Drums. “With strikingly good looks reminiscent of the YZF-R1 superbike and innovative engineering, the FP9 Series provides the solution for drummers looking for a reliable, customizable drum pedal that will last.”
