Leading landscape design-and-build company taps former Topgolf CMO to drive its next chapter of expansion
MILL VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Yardzen, the leading landscape design-and-build platform, today announced that Brian Radics has joined the company as Head of Growth.
The hire comes at a moment when the American yard is more richly valued than ever before. According to a 2026 U.S. Outdoor Trends Report*, homeowners renovating their outdoor spaces for their own enjoyment now outnumber those doing it for resale value, a gap that has widened since 2024. More people today are treating their yards as real living space – somewhere to cook, gather, and eat dinner on a Tuesday, rather than a strip of lawn to maintain. Yardzen has grown alongside that shift. With tens of thousands of projects completed nationwide, the company is well-positioned today to take homeowners from a first idea to a finished yard without the cost, time, and complexity of traditional renovation.
"Brian has spent his career turning brands into places people want to spend their time, and connecting lived experiences to those brands," said Allison Messner, CEO and cofounder of Yardzen. "In this moment where our yards have never been more important, but the decision to enter into a home renovation never more complex, there's enormous opportunity to enable American homeowners to get more out of their outdoor living spaces."
In this newly created role, Radics will lead Yardzen's Marketing, Build, and Partnerships teams, with a focus on scaling the brand and strengthening the end-to-end experience for both homeowners and the builders who bring Yardzen designs to life. Radics will also shape how Yardzen shows up online and in real-world moments, deepening engagement with homeowners and the broader Yardzen community, while building partnerships that support the company's continued growth and awareness.
"I was drawn to Yardzen's mission of enriching lives through outdoor living, and the huge opportunity for a company with such impact, so early in its story," said Radics. "I mowed lawns as a kid, and I've spent my career building brands. This role is the culmination of that journey. And what excites me most is the chance to make Yardzen the first place people think of when they're ready to transform their outdoor space and create something they'll enjoy for years to come."
Radics brings extensive experience shaping brands, driving growth, and making magic happen at the intersection of digital and IRL experiences across leading consumer companies. Before joining Yardzen, he served as CMO at Hotaling & Co. and Topgolf Entertainment, following brand and marketing leadership roles at Diageo, The Coca-Cola Company, and M&M's/Mars. Radics holds a B.A. in government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.
