Yorba Linda Fit Body Boot Camp Announces the Winners of its 6 Week Revolution Fitness Challenge
Yorba Linda, CA (PRWEB) April 26, 2014 -- Yorba Linda Fit Body Boot Camp has today announced the winners of their competitive 6 Week Revolution fitness challenge. Members and non-members of the Yorba Linda boot camp who competed in the six week fitness challenge, which included unlimited boot camp sessions, were judged on attendance, weight and inches lost, body fat percentage decrease, and special burpee exercise finisher points.
Owner of the Yorba Linda Fit Body Boot Camp, local fitness and nutrition expert Bryce Henson, says that he was inspired to launch the 6 Week Revolution Challenge because he wanted to find a fun and exciting way for the community to reach their fitness and fat loss goals.
He explains, “Promoting a fun and friendly competitive atmosphere always pushes people to achieve more. We had a great time and saw some amazing results with this fitness challenge. We also launched and incorporated our Take Shape for Life nutrition and wellness program brought to us by Dr. Nicole Garcia which aided our contestants and was a driving factor in Yorba Linda Fit Body Boot Camp’s winner Dimitri Rabyy’s 25 lbs loss success in only 6 weeks!”
Taking the first place grand prize of $300 is Dimitry Rabb, who lost a total of 25 lbs, 7% body fat, attended 45 different boot camp sessions, and performed 2,480 burpees in the six week period. Alicja Orlowska-Ehling was named the second place winner and was awarded a $50 salon voucher for her fitness progress including losing a total of 8 lbs and 7% body fat, attending 43 boot camp sessions, and performing 1,280 burpee exercises. Long time Yorba Linda boot camp member Courtney Rader won third place winning a total hair makeover for attending 49 sessions and performing a total of 2,820 burpee exercises.
Winner Rabyys says, “The 6 Week Revolution Challenge itself was a doozy. We were judged on a combination of weight loss, body fat percentage loss, number of sessions, and an awesome ‘extra credit’ exercise called the burpee. None of it was easy, but all of it was fun.” He adds, “In the end, what helped me achieve the results that I saw was the great competition with the other boot campers, helpful staff, and the new Take Shape for Life program at Yorba Linda Fit Body Boot Camp!”
Yorba Linda Fit Body Boot Camp was also able to come together to donate $150 to the Orange County Ronald McDonald House’s Walk for Kids event.
