Young Adult Author G.S. Eli Is Pleading for America's Youth to Stay Home During Global Pandemic
Author G.S. Eli is offering complimentary digital copies of his unreleased novel from March 23 thru April 8, 2020 with hopes of inspiring young Americans to stay home during novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic
WESTPORT, Conn., March 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Adventure/fantasy author G.S. "George" Eli wants to encourage young Americans to stay indoors during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic by way of reading a book that speaks to their imaginations, as well as by creating an online dialogue that keeps communities connected while governors across the U.S. ask residents to stay home.
"As a father and spiritualist, I was both saddened and concerned to see so many young people going outside while we're in the middle of a pandemic. I know that they're frustrated, so I thought of a way that I could encourage young people to stay at home," said Eli. "Many larger corporations are able to offer free services, but aren't – yet I'm able to give of myself what I can, and that's my unreleased book, 'The Last of the Magi: The Devouring.'"
Young adult adventure/fantasy fans can sign up through Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/lastofthemagi/) or Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/lastofthemagi) to receive a free digital copy of "The Last of the Magi: The Devouring" before its release for pre-sale on April 8th.
"I put together on my social media accounts a list of 12 adventure/fantasy novels that inspired films like 'Star Wars' and 'Game of Thrones' to help start a stay-at-home reading campaign," said Eli. "If you're a fan of any of these novels, DM me through Facebook or Instagram with three things: 1. Your favorite book from the list, 2. Your name and email address and 3. What type of smartphone you use so that I can send you a digital copy of my book, 'The Last of the Magi: The Devouring.'"
