Young Scholars Circle Partnering with PeerPrep to Offer Complimentary Workshop for Students Grades 7-12.
VIENNA, Va. (PRWEB) September 10, 2018 -- Young Scholars Circle will be cohosting an event with Stanford University students from their partner PeerPrep to hold a free workshop and panel for middle schoolers and high schoolers on Saturday, September 15th at 8221 Old Courthouse Road Suite 106 Vienna, VA 22182.
For middle schoolers (grades 7th-8th), they will be covering how to prepare for high school through extracurricular development/side-projects and competitions from 4-5PM. This includes building a foundation for topics like computer science/math, cultivating good habits and a growth mindset, and how to excel at competitions like AMC/Junior Olympiads, Math Counts, research-based science fairs, and more.
For high schoolers (grades 9th-12th), they will go over how to achieve well-rounded success in high school for college admissions from 5-6PM. There will be a talk about opportunities available in a variety of fields such as internships, finding and applying to summer programs, community impact, volunteering abroad, school clubs, outside organizations, and more.
