YourTechGenius, the much-anticipated remote technology support service designed especially for seniors officially launched on July 17, 2020.

The new online technology service hits the market as seniors have become more dependent on technology due to COVID-19.

Researchers have shown a sharp increase in feelings of loneliness, depression, and isolation across all demographics, but especially in high-risk seniors.

YourTechGenius is a contactless subscription service that has developed unique technologies and processes to work with those that struggle with technology.

They have simplified the communication process as help is only one click away on almost any device. That help is provided by a live US-based “TechGenius”.

Logan Scott, Head of Subscriber Onboarding, said of the prelaunch, “the response has been tremendous. Not only have we seen individuals signing up, but we also have children and grandchildren giving the service as a gift.”

A recent research study published in the journal Healthcare and conducted by Design Lab at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), found that in many cases “frustration with new technology made older adults unsure of their ability to use it, and led to a lack of self-confidence leaving them unmotivated to even try.”

A Pew Research Center analysis found as many as 56% of seniors, who are already active on the internet, said they need help connecting with friends and family.
