NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The National Association for Catering & Events (NACE) announced Z Event Company as the recipient of the award for Decor and Production at an On-Premise Catered Event of the Year – Budget Greater Than $100,000 at its annual NACE One Awards in Cincinnati this past July. The event planning award was one of the highest honors of the evening and is awarded to catered events in the gala's highest budget bracket.
The awarded event, named Studio 54 in the Big Easy, was a milestone birthday celebration hosted at Tableau, an upscale French-Creole restaurant in the French Quarter owned by restaurateur Dickie Brennan. Mr. Brennan shares the award with Z Event Company. Studio 54 in the Big Easy captured the spirit of the famed New York City nightclub with 70s-themed decor, vintage costumes, customized party favors, photo props and live entertainment. Guests enjoyed Tableau's classic New Orleans cuisine served alongside specialty cocktails that were crafted for the event.
