LONDON, Dec. 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Zappi, the ad and innovation testing platform built by brands for brands, today announced that it has appointed Mitch Barns, former CEO of Nielsen, to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Prior to his role as CEO of Nielsen, Barns lived and worked in three continents and held leadership roles across all major parts of Nielsen's business. He began his career at Procter & Gamble in marketing research and brand management, where he served for more than 12 years.

Currently, Barns helps to lead strategy and operations of the Global Leadership Network (a non-profit based in the USA operating worldwide). He also serves on the advisory board of Growth Catalyst Partners (a private equity firm based in the USA) and is a member of the board of directors for The Stable (a marketing services firm based in Minneapolis in the USA). In early 2019, he founded Second Half Advisors, a firm that advises and supports a variety of fast-growing businesses, primarily in the information services market.
Barns earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance from Miami University (Ohio) and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
