Zappi Announces Strategic New Sales Hires, Positions for Growth in EMEA and APAC

The international sales team has doubled in size, and is planned to triple by the end of 2021.

The increased headcount we’ve seen so far this year, in conjunction with the new hires we have planned for later in the year, is quickly positioning us to grow Zappi’s footprint in EMEA and APAC.

Zappi, the ad and innovation testing platform built by brands for brands, today announced significant growth in its international sales team, which covers the EMEA and APAC regions. The team has doubled in size so far this year, and is on target to triple by the end of 2021.

Notably, the team has gained three senior members: Sim Dehra, Arwen Sleigh and Dimitra Spiliotopoulou.

Dehra joins as vice president of strategic accounts, where she is tasked with developing and growing relationships with Zappi’s most strategic prospects and customers. With nearly two decades experience in brand and communications, she has worked at Kantar Millward Brown, GfK, Nielsen, MetrixLab, and most recently DVJ Insight — predominantly within advertising research with a particular focus on media and creative.

Sleigh joins Zappi as director of project accounts, where she is tasked with managing a team of account managers to grow project-based sales. With expertise in media, digital and ad testing, she joins the team from Hall and Partners. She spent a decade with Kantar South Africa leading multidisciplinary teams through a digital transformation.

Spiliotopoulou joins as director of business development, where she is tasked with growing international business. With two decades of experience in analytics services and products, Spiliotopoulou has worked with some of the largest brands in media and CPG developing and executing sales strategies to drive internal stakeholder value and revenue gains. Most recently, she spent five years at Nielsen Media in regional sales.

Named Marketing Research Supplier of the Year by Quirk’s Media last year, Zappi builds insights solutions in partnership with brands like PepsiCo, McDonald’s, Mars and Vodafone to help companies answer their most pressing business questions, learn more about their consumers and launch better ads and innovation.

This announcement comes on the heels of other big staffing announcements this year, including the hiring of an executive vice president of global operations and the formation of a global enterprise team.
