NAPA, Calif., Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ZD Wines announced today that their newly renovated Vineyard View Tasting Room and Deck is now open. Wayne Leong of Leong Architects, in partnership with the deLeuze family, designed the new ZD Wines hospitality center that features a sleek, modern design that offers unobstructed views of the valley floor. The reception area, private lounge, and catering kitchen are the next renovation phases that are currently underway.

Guests are now being treated to an elevated hospitality experience in ZD's newly renovated Vineyard View Room and Deck. The minimalist design and neutral color palate encourage guests to focus on the beautiful wines and stunning views overlooking the vineyards of Rutherford. Large European sliding glass doors, with minimal hardware, provide uninterrupted valley floor views. An oak wood ceiling with energy-efficient strip lighting thoughtfully incorporates acoustical dampening technologies to provide a more enjoyable atmosphere. A sleek railing and new lighting design make the expanded wrap-around deck perfect for a luxurious wine tasting experience.
The reception area and private lounge comprise the next renovation phase and will open in the spring of 2019. The new reception area will boast a minimalist-designed welcome bar and large picture windows showcasing the beautiful barrel room. Three 13-foot tall sliding glass doors designed in Portugal will encase a private lounge - a warm and inviting space that will feature an old-world fireplace and elegant patio garden. Additional renovations will include a custom catering kitchen which, once completed, will offer food pairing opportunities to enhance guests' wine tasting experiences.
This September, ZD celebrated their 50th anniversary with several events in the Napa Valley. The celebration included the release of ZD's first ever sparkling wine to commemorate the occasion, which debuted their new wine label that will be found on all of their wines moving forward. The renovation is a key component to their ongoing celebrations, honoring their history while looking towards the future.
ZD Wines is known for three core varietals including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
