Franchise owners Joey and Kimber Burger have signed an agreement with intent to open in the Vail, Arizona area, outside of Tucson.
Joey was drawn to the company after being introduced to it while working in Colorado as a consultant in the oil and gas industry.
"I had been looking into opening a coffee shop for a while, so when someone brought in some amazing Ziggi's coffee to work, I just had to learn more," said Joey. "What really got me interested was when I realized how good the product was. I went to the nearest location and ordered $30 worth of drinks to try and really enjoyed them all. They were far better than the competition."
From that point, he and Kimber began the process of becoming franchisees. They traveled together to Colorado to meet the team and fell in love with the brand and the team.
"I was just blown away by the sense of community and the people within Ziggi's; it's like a family," said Kimber. "Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. They just made me truly excited about joining the company and starting something new."
As new residents of Vail, the Burgers are eager to get started and begin building relationships with their community. Their goal, says Joey, is to first open a drive-thru in Vail and then expand into Tucson with additional locations.
"There's a huge market out here and I see a need that hasn't been met," he said. "I'm really looking forward to bringing Ziggi's to the Vail area and beyond."
The couple is now in the process of securing a site, which will feature Ziggi's signature drive-thru lane for convenient fast and friendly service. The company offers a variety of exceptional food and drink items with over 30 flavor varieties, including many sugar-free options, as well as milk alternatives like almond, soy and coconut.
