Founded in Longmont, Colo., the latest signing grants the rights to three locations, adding to the company's growing Northern Colorado presence.
Franchisees Jill and Greg Bland are looking to join in the brand's growth as multi-unit operators. Jill will run the business operations, while her husband Greg assists with growing the business into additional locations.
"We're getting started right away with a multi-unit agreement because we see the immense potential that awaits us," said Jill. "This has truly been a lifelong dream of ours and for our family. For nearly 20 years, the Blands have dreamt of owning their own coffee shop but life always got in the way. "We've always talked about it but we had kids and busy lives and it just never happened," she said.
Over that time, they've raised two children, lived in six different states, and Greg has had a successful career working with companies ranging from Fortune 500 to successful start-up companies, while Jill ran her own businesses, most recently as an aesthetician. Now, that their kids are grown with their own lives, they say, it's time to settle down and do something together that they're both passionate about.
"Now that we're ready to finally do it, we decided we didn't want to start from scratch; we wanted an established brand with a successful path to follow," said Jill. "We both love coffee and amazing people and that's what we were immediately drawn to with Ziggi's. Their coffee product and ownership support are number one."
The quality and flavor of the product, as well as the branding and attention to detail, is what cemented their decision. "The branding was very fresh and stood out. It was all the personal touches. It just felt like something we could definitely get behind," said Greg.
With the franchise agreement confirmed, the Bland's are now in the process of identifying prime real estate for their locations and working with the Ziggi's team to secure the best possible sites.
