ROUGH AND READY, Calif., Jan. 14, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Zinfandel Advocates & Producers (ZAP) will present its esteemed annual ZinEX tasting event on a virtual platform on Saturday and Sunday, January 30 and 31 from 1pm-4pm PST/4pm-7pm EST. Now in its third decade, the iconic event will be a "social zinstancing experience" featuring more than three dozen outstanding California wineries. Registration is open now for this year's event which is offered free to the general public (ages 21 & older).
As businesses move forward in the new normal, ZAP is making it easy to navigate and attend ZinEX in the virtual world, bringing wine to the doorsteps of wine lovers everywhere. ZinEX 2021 will offer guests up-close-and-personal time with acclaimed winemakers and explorations, right from the comfort of home. The event promises something for every taste with Zinfandels from the Dry Creek, Russian River, Alexander and Sonoma Valleys, to finely balanced Lodi Zinfandels, luscious Zinfandels from Napa Valley, legendary vineyards in Paso Robles, to exploring the old vines of Contra Costa and Blends.
Each day will include five different Meet the Maker Sessions featuring winemakers or winery principals talking about their Legendary Zinfandel Vineyards. The ten moderated sessions presented over the two days will explore makers located in Paso Robles, Northern Sonoma, Dry Creek Valley, Napa, Sonoma County, Contra Costa County, as well spotlight Women Owners, Estate Wineries, and Italy, plus include a comparison of the California wine regions.
Not only will attendees of the virtual event be able to watch the Legendary Zinfandel Vineyards panel discussions via live stream on the Main Stage, they can ask questions via real-time chat, and click over to the Expo area to visit Virtual Booths to speak directly with key winery personnel. Participating wineries will offer special promotions before, during, and after the event with wine details and shop links displayed in each winery's virtual booth. Guests can purchase the wine in advance to taste along or go shopping post-event.
