ZolaBean launched on Kickstarter today, introducing a new line of stylish, comfortable, eco-friendly dresses made from recycled water bottles and coffee grounds. The dresses are ultra soft, yet durable, and designed for women who live incredibly busy lifestyles. Zolabean dresses will solve the common quandary many women face when choosing what to wear on days they’re moving quickly from one thing to the next, as these dresses will move with them and simplify their routines from morning to night.
“I believe sustainable fashion can make a difference in our world. I also believe in practical dresses that you can wear everyday because life on the go is always busy. We need to look good, and be comfortable at the same time,” said Cynthia Le, Founder of ZolaBean. “I realized that despite a closet full of clothes, I only wear a few items frequently because they're easy and comfortable. That’s why I created ZolaBean, a line of clothing with that level of comfort, but also so stylish, you will want to wear it everyday.”
Each ZolaBean dress has 10+ travel-friendly features, enabling it to work beautifully during each moment of a woman’s day. Carrying around a purse or bag can often be bulky, uncomfortable and keep one from moving freely. ZolaBean dresses solve this by featuring side pockets with zippers to carry belongings and keep them from falling out. There are three styles of dresses: a wrap dress, Kelly dress and t-shirt dress. Each can be mixed and matched for year-round wear, as a versatile dress is a staple item of any woman’s closet. ZolaBean’s materials are wrinkle resistant and can be simply smoothed by hand or hung up for a quick fix, so there’s no need to worry about the fuss of an iron or steamer.
Comprised of a four-way-stretch material, ZolaBean dresses combine the perfect mix of recycled fabric and spandex to allow for a stretch that keeps one moving no matter what the day entails. Lucky for women constantly on the move, the fabric is partly made from coffee grounds, which contain microscopic pores that reflect UV rays. This means the wearer’s skin is protected from the sun through a natural and chemical-free shield. The fabric is also lightweight and fast drying, moving moisture away from the skin three times faster than cotton.
ZolaBean is offered in three colors: red, navy and light blue. It is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter for $95, or 35% off the retail price. For more information about the campaign, or to place a pre-order, visit http://pr.go2.fund/zolabean.
