Mr. Hirji is the President at Figure in San Francisco—a financial technology company leveraging blockchain, AI, and analytics to deliver innovative home equity release solutions and other financial products. Figure is the fourth largest originator of HELOC loans in the United States and continues to expand financial products it offers directly to consumers.
Previously, Hirji was President and COO at Coinbase, where he scaled the largest cryptocurrency broker, exchange, and custodian to over $1B in revenues and raised $300M while growing the company and management team.
He has worked as a faculty member teaching Private Equity courses at the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley, served as Chairman of the Board at Saxo Bank in Copenhagen, Denmark from 2010 to 2018, acted as Operating Advisor at venture capital firm, Andreessen Horowitz, and reported directly to Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg White from 2014 to 2017 as Chief Restructuring Officer.
