To position the company for continued long-term growth, the independent building consulting firm of zumBrunnen, Inc. is pleased to announce a transition in ownership from John zumBrunnen, the Founder, to James Robert (Rob) Milam, Jr.

zumBrunnen, Inc. is an independent building consulting firm established in 1989 by John zumBrunnen. With a solid succession plan for continued growth, the ownership of the company is being transitioned from John zumBrunnen to James Robert (Rob) Milam, Jr. who has been with the firm since 2013. Milam has 25 years of experience in the industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Auburn University.

Ownership of the firm will begin transitioning to Milam on January 1, 2019. To ensure a seamless process, the transition will take place over five years. John zumBrunnen will remain involved on an Executive Board, Doug McMillan will continue to lead the Project Manager Team and Milam will incorporate Business Development into his current role.

For almost three decades, the zumBrunnen team has created the proprietary ‘zumBrunnen Report’ process and FacilityForecast software to deliver a wide range of building-related services including construction monitoring services and capital replacement reserve studies.
