101 Mobility Initiates Meet and Greet with Local Business Owners
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) February 24, 2014 -- 101 Mobility RDU sells, installs, repairs, and rents a wide range of mobility equipment including stair lifts, wheelchair ramps, porch lifts, auto lifts, pool lifts, and patient lifts. Owners Lisa and Melissa Fosbury scheduled appointments this week with other local businesses and non-profits that share an interest in disability, accessibility, or aging-related causes in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding areas.
Both mother and daughter pride themselves in being active volunteers in the Triangle. Though the Fosburys have not used their business as a vehicle for community involvement, they hope meeting with other agencies and non-profits will change that. 101 Mobility RDU currently works regularly with Alliance Behavioral Health, Vocational Rehabilitation, the Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments, and many area churches.
Lisa and Melissa are scheduled to meet with Andrew Jacobs Construction, Whitney Pritchard of the Alliance Center for Independent Living, and Patrick Curran of Easter Seals UCP. Their goal is to create a trusted network within the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area that customers can rely on. Whether clients need a stair lift installed, resources for dealing with mobility-related conditions, or caregiver assistance, 101 Mobility can either be their go-to or refer them to someone who can help. “Melissa and I share the same compassion for those in need as well as the caregivers who may or may not have signed on for the duties that lie ahead," Lisa said. "Anything that we could do to make a life a little easier or a lot easier, we are there."
