11th Annual Military Friendly Employers ® Announced Today on MilitaryFriendly.com
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 11, 2013 -- The 11th annual list of Military Friendly Employers® was released today by Victory Media on MilitaryFriendly.com, the premier resource site for transitioning military service members and spouses. The 2014 Military Friendly Employers ® represent those companies with the strongest military recruiting programs and meaningful job opportunities for transitioning service members and spouses seeking civilian employment.
The 2014 Military Friendly Employers ® were led by #1 ranked USAA, a perennial top performer and only the second company in the history of the list to repeat a #1 ranking. All 2014 Military Friendly Employers ® will be featured online at MilitaryFriendly.com and in the December edition of G.I. Jobs magazine. Using the priority data engine on MilitaryFriendly.com, job candidates are able to view prospective employer profiles, as well as design their own custom lists according to their preferences. Custom, user-directed lists can then be saved and shared socially, allowing each candidate to find their unique #1 Military Friendly Employer ®.

Employers participating in the event will be limited to those which have earned the Military Friendly Employers® moniker for 2014.
Candidates can leverage the digital event at no cost to speak directly with companies prior to leaving the service and make informed decisions about their civilian careers. The survey results that determined the 2014 Top Military Friendly Employers ® were independently tested by Ernst & Young LLP based upon the weightings and methodology established by Victory Media. Companies vehemently compete to earn the Military Friendly ® moniker which gives them an advantage in recruiting highly coveted military-trained talent. Each year companies taking the survey are held to a higher standard than the previous year via improved methodology, criteria and weightings developed with the assistance of an Advisory Board consisting of leaders in the military recruitment community.
