Millbrook, NY (PRWEB) December 18, 2013 -- 17a-4’s DataParser now supports Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) 10. The DataParser software captures e-messaging, data streams and database content for archival ingestion. The latest build of the DataParser for Blackberry now supports BES10.
BES10 delivers comprehensive multi-platform management for iOS, Android and BlackBerry devices enabling organizations of all sizes to mobilize their business without sacrificing user experience or security and compliance concerns. Where multiple devices, ownership models, applications and operating environments exist, BlackBerry 10 balances end user and corporate needs. 17a-4 has developed the DataParser software to capture Blackberry content for Enterprise clients that require archiving and discovery policies for compliance. The DataParser downloads the Blackberry messages and formats the content as an email for ingestion into a corporate archive. This allows for the Blackberry messages to be managed by legal and compliance, along with email, in the archive. Current clients of 17a-4’sDataParser for Blackberry with BES10 support include a major New York retail bank and major New York investment firm.
The DataParser supports BlackBerry, Bloomberg, Microsoft Lync, Lync Online, Cisco Jabber, SharePoint, SQL content and many other interfaces. As a middle-ware software product, it integrates easily into many different archive architectures and configurations, including in house or outsourced archives, to leverage existing infrastructures. Typical on premise archives include EMC’s SourceOne, Symantec’s Enterprise Vault, Barracuda and CommVault. Common cloud archive integrations include Autonomy’s ACA, Smarsh and Symantec’s Enterprise Vault.Cloud.
