1 EDI Source Unveils Ad-Hoc Reporting for its EDI Software
Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- 1 EDI Source, Inc., a leading provider of electronic data interchange (EDI) software and Software-as-a-Service solutions, proudly unveils ad-hoc reporting for its powerful EDI software, EDI/HQ™. This feature, combined with the company’s previously released advanced mapping designer and engine, is the latest in a series of upcoming enhancements to help businesses of all sizes do more with their EDI data.
The new ad-hoc reporting enhancement allows users to build a nearly unlimited number of reports from EDI data, transaction history and trading partner configuration information housed in the EDI software. With EDI/HQ SmartFilters, businesses can restrict the report contents by trading partner, transaction type, date created, etc., providing a truly custom reporting experience.
This advanced feature allows businesses to easily run custom reports using SAP Crystal Reports, a leading business intelligence application used to create reports from a broad range of data sources. With this built-in enhancement, 1 EDI Source’s clients can add report generation to existing jobs or manually schedule reports. Reports can be delivered as email attachments, published to the user’s EDI/HQ dashboard or exported in a format most suitable to their business needs. Users can build reports using the Crystal Reports user-friendly design tool or contact 1 EDI Source’s experienced EDI consultants to develop custom reports.
The latest version of 1 EDI Source’s robust EDI software also features the Generation 3 Map Designer and Mapping Engine and is compatible with the company’s add-on Business Sense Module. With the newly designed interface, users can see a full view of their maps and customize screens to show as much or as little detail as desired. Clients using the Generation 3 Map Designer and Mapping Engine develop maps, on average, 25 to 30 percent faster.
“Reviewing and analyzing data is critical when it comes to EDI software and we are pleased to offer this advanced, ad-hoc reporting feature for our clients,” said Vince Sarowatz, director of product development, 1 EDI Source. “Ad-hoc reporting puts the power of data right in the hands of our clients and allows them to monitor and assess the EDI data that’s most important to their operations.”
Businesses can learn more about ad-hoc reporting and other advanced EDI software features at 1 EDI Source's first user conference. "The 1 Conference" will be held October 6-9, 2013 at the Renaissance Orlando SeaWorld in Florida and will feature EDI software tips and best practices from the industry’s top EDI experts.
