2013 G.E.M. Awards Honor FirstService Residential Arizona Community Managers

Recognition Awards on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. The G.E.M. Awards recognize the individual efforts of CAAM® certified Community Managers, CAASP™ support professionals and affiliated partners who have made a contribution above and beyond the normal course of their duties to their association clients, company and actively supporting the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM).

FirstService Residential received five total nominations for the 2013 G.E.M. Awards. These nominees included Community Managers Doug Austin, Misty Damron, Lisa Pimentle, Toddie Fowler and Deanna Tatman. Each nominee spent the past year striving to improve each of their communities and surpassed expectations in creating a better lifestyle for their residents. At the G.E.M. Awards Luncheon, FirstService Residential Community Manager Misty Damron won the Rising G.E.M. – Level II Award. Damron is a portfolio Community Manager covering eight communities throughout Phoenix’s West Valley. “Since she started with FirstService Residential over a year ago, she has had a “can do” attitude and does not let issues she cannot control bring her down! This attitude is infectious and had a large part of her winning the Rising G.E.M. Award,” said Mike Kuzmin, FirstService Residential Arizona Vice President, West Valley Division.
