2013 Marks Deficiency-Free Year for Six Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group Rehabilitation and Nursing Centers
Braintree MA (PRWEB) November 28, 2013 -- Six Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group rehabilitation and nursing centers received 2013 deficiency-free surveys from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers are in compliance with all requirements for certification in the Medicare and Medicaid Program. In Massachusetts, a deficiency-free survey from the state Department of Public Health is considered one of the foremost confirmations of quality care and service a skilled nursing center can receive. “For more than 60 years our family has focused on providing the highest standard of care to seniors,” says Richard M. Welch, president, Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group. “A successful survey is a reflection of the outstanding work that is done every day by our dedicated and caring staff,” added Welch.
The state regulations require each skilled nursing facility to undergo a rigorous survey in which the centers are evaluated on quality of nursing care, patient rights, therapeutic recreation, food service, environmental safety and administration. “The Welch Group is proud of the ongoing commitment by our caring and loyal staff,” says Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group Vice-President Paul T. Casale.
