Cedar Boulevard Releases Self Titled EP
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) November 06, 2014 -- The ominous sound of swelling strings opens this first self-titled effort from Cedar Boulevard and the album kicks straight into high gear. Placing a foundation on rock, punk, and post-hardcore rhythms while blending dual lead guitars and catchy melodic vocals, the band solidifies their sound with acoustic, piano and orchestral elements. Likened to ”Avenged Sevenfold crossed with Fall Out Boy," the album looks to bring together a variety of genres as the band establishes themselves with a fresh take and unique sound.
The Cedar Boulevard EP was recorded at Adelaide Recording Studios in Raleigh, North Carolina, in August 2014 with producer Shawn Milke (Alesana/owner of Revival Recordings) and engineer Neil Engle. It was released worldwide via iTunes and Spotify on September 12th, 2014. The album was also released on 33 different sites for download and streaming, including Amazon, Rdio, Google Play and Rhapsody.
Founded in Australia, Cedar Boulevard relocated to North America in search of a bigger music scene and with a true determination to create a musical career. After finding new members and releasing this self-titled EP, they are now set to hit the road on tour, looking to gain new fans and establish themselves in the music scene as a band to watch.
