2015 Alberta Export Awards Winners Announced
Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) December 11, 2015 -- More than 150 manufacturing executive and representatives from trade, government and industry came together to celebrate Alberta export success at the Hyatt Regency on December 3, 2015.
During a time when many companies are facing challenges domestically, the Alberta Export Awards was able to shed a spotlight on those who are finding significant growth in revenues, economies of scale and increased efficiencies in other markets.
The Alberta awards program, hosted two weeks after the BC Export Awards and Ontario Export Awards gave recognition in the provinces key industries, all pertinent to our regional economy. Such categories included manufacturing, oil and gas service and supply, clean technology, consumer products, agriculture/food/beverage, professional services and advanced technology/innovation.
Additional support and counsel on trade and export development came from speakers Hans Gjerdrum of Kudu Industries and Robin Winsor of Cybera.

• Advanced Technology & Innovation: CoolIT Systems
• Emerging Exporter: Nanalysis Corp
• International Business Studies Student: Awarded to Andrew West, a Business Economics student with a major in Law and minor in International Business, from the University of Alberta.
Exporter of the Year was awarded to CoolIT for being a global leader in direct contact liquid cooling for the data centre and desktop markets. With over 50 patents and more the two million liquid cooling units sold and deployed word wide, CoolIT has made significant exporting impact around the world.
