“Following the success of the 2014 Open Architecture Summit, the 2015 agenda demonstrates an expanded discussion of OA across other areas concerning national security. By discussing open systems across a wider spectrum of industries and verticals, we are able to provide more in-depth information from a larger pool of experts on open systems as they are today, as well as their future potential in relation to national security,” said Tom Williams, Publisher of Defense Daily.
Also new in 2015 is the introduction of the Government Attendance Grant Program for all government and military employees who wish to attend the summit. Employees of government agencies, including military branches, are eligible to apply for a Government Attendance Grant to attend the 2015 Open Architecture Summit. Visit http://www.OpenArchitectureSummit.com/Registration for more information on this new program.
The Open Architecture Summit will also examine the topic of waging electronic warfare, an increasingly critical capability potential enemies are getting better at countering. How can open architectures in hardware and software help field new functionality quickly and effectively to suppress enemy defenses and communications? The 2015 summit will again feature senior national defense and security officers, as well as flag officers from the acquisition community, to discuss the latest efforts in their programs , and take a look toward where open architectures are headed in the years to come.
