2016 Inmar Analytics Forum Begins April 12 in Winston-Salem, NC
(PRWEB) April 11, 2016 -- The 2016 Inmar Analytics Forum begins Tuesday, April 12 in Winston-Salem, NC and will draw hundreds of business leaders, students and academics to the city’s downtown to explore how data analytics can be employed to drive better business results and improve patient outcomes. Presented by Inmar, Inc., in partnership with the Wake Forest University Center for Retail Innovation, the Forum is an annual event that brings students and faculty together with business professionals from the Promotion, Healthcare and Supply Chain industries to surface data-driven solutions to the toughest challenges facing businesses and health systems today.
This year’s Forum features 78 information sessions across nine tracks and includes keynote presentations from Ray Kurzweil, one of the world’s leading inventors, thinkers and futurists and Larry J. Merlo, President and CEO, CVS Health. In addition, the Forum will host the Wake Forest University Analytics Summit Case Competition. This is a student-run competition that offers both graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to apply their skills and creativity to real-world marketing challenges. This is the 26th year for the competition and the 14 teams participating are competing for a prize purse of $50,000.
A record turnout is expected for the 2016 program as close to 800 registrations were received. This is an almost 400 percent increase since the inaugural Inmar Analytics Forum in 2014. Included among the attendees will be representatives of 20 of the Fortune 100 companies along with students and faculty from 32 colleges and universities.
The Inmar Analytics Forum holds a unique place in the meeting space because of its focus on the practical application of data analytics and the attention given to using data to stimulate collaboration between manufacturers, retailers and healthcare providers/systems. More information about the Forum is available at Inmarforum(at)inmar(dot)com and on-site registrations will be accepted at Benton Convention Center before sessions begin Tuesday morning.
