2016 Military Spouse Friendly Employers ® List Recognizes Companies Hiring the Home Front’s Skilled Military Spouses

This year’s list features 100 companies, up from previous years, demonstrating the growing business need and success in employing this group of talented men and women. For the first time, the list also ranks the top Military Spouse Friendly Employers® by industry.

The annual Military Friendly® survey is open to companies with $100MM or more in annual revenue, with the Military Friendly® ratings distinguishing those best for veterans and servicemembers transitioning out of the military. A portion of the survey considers specific recruiting and retention practices and policies for military spouses, addressing some of the biggest concerns of military families:
• Which companies provide time off for spouses when their service member is deployed?
• Which companies offer flexibility for spouses who are managing the nuances of military life?
• Which companies work to keep spouses employed when they inevitably have to relocate?
