2017 Tech Awards Winners Announced at TechCelebration: NVTC’s Annual Banquet
TYSONS CORNER, Va. (PRWEB) December 12, 2017 -- Last night, over 700 members of the Northern Virginia technology community gathered at TechCelebration, the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC), annual banquet. The event honored Senator John McCain for his outstanding leadership and service to our country with the Pinnacle Award. Senator John Barrasso accepted the award on behalf of Sen. McCain and made remarks. Virginia Governor-elect Ralph Northam also addressed the TechCelebration audience, sharing his vision for the Commonwealth just one month before being sworn in as Virginia’s 73rd governor.
In addition, the event featured the presentation of the 2017 NVTC Tech Awards, honoring groundbreaking companies, leaders and innovations in our region's technology community, and the Veterans Employment Initiative (VEI) Veteran Service Award, recognizing NVTC member companies who have demonstrated a superlative level of engagement with the VEI and support for the Veteran community.
