WASHINGTON, N.C. (PRWEB) July 18, 2018 -- Having lived with epilepsy for many years, Jon Sadler learned how his experience and perseverance became a source of hope for other people. This prompted him to pen “Sailing Through the Storms of Seizures” (published by Xlibris), a book directed toward those suffering from seizure disorders.

In “Sailing Through the Storms of Seizures,” Sadler provides an overall perspective of living with epilepsy. The book starts with information about what epilepsy is and what may be the triggers to a seizure. It then follows with his personal experiences. It ends with him being a caregiver and provides summaries of what it is like to be the person with seizures, caregiver considerations and resources for assistance.
The book is based on actual life events and takes place in several locations – from inside a home, to various hospitals. In here, Sadler shares his insights as a mentor, caregiver and counselor. He hopes the book can be a source of education about epilepsy and provides a sense of hope in letting people know they are not alone.
“I not only recommend it to the people living with epilepsy, I also recommend it to the doctors and counselors who provide treatment,” the author adds.
